Canada Plays Twice in Vancouver

This is the headline for Canadian fans. Canada plays both of its first two Group F matches at BC Place:

  1. June 18 vs Qatar — Canada's World Cup opener on home soil. 3:00 PM kickoff. This will be the loudest match of the tournament in Vancouver.
  2. June 24 vs Switzerland — Noon kickoff. If Canada beat Qatar, this match could decide who tops the group.

Canada's third group match (vs New Zealand or Egypt) would be at another host city.
